GE Washer Timer Dead?

GE washer at first would fill and drain but no agitate or spin. Lid switch checked good. Pressure switch checked good. Timer hummed constant in all settings. When disconnecting red wire from pressure switch to see if it would cause timer to stop humming, I got a spark when wire accidently touched control panel assembly body. Now no humming or filling and draining. Timer seems dead. Could i have taken out the relay in the process?

Thanks

Take off the front cover and see if the transmission will move in either direction. I doubt if you fried the timer, but you may have transmission issues or motor issues or clutch issues.

Thanks, actually breaker had popped. reset and back to original problem.
Will fill and drain but no agitate or spin.
motor and tub spin by hand.
Banged motor once and it started to agitate.
turned off washer off and again back to original problem.
Banging no help now.
