I have a Kenmore Elite HE3T washer. I replaced the bearing on it the other day because the were bad. When I put it back together to do the first test cycle I now get an F06 error. I have tried to do a cycle with and without the belt connect to the drum and all the motor does is spin for about 3 seconds. The timer does not count down it just flashes at 35 mins. the washer tries to start the cycle many times before i get the f06 code.
Things I have done.
checked ohms on pins 1,2,3. I get 6 at all of them
Unplugged all the cables checked for corrosion, cleaned all connectors with rubbing alcohol.
inspected wire harness.
Check ohms at tachometer. I get 114
I ordered a new MCU and when I installed it the very first cycle started frying the board. I could see little sparks on the board and it started smoking. the motor did not move at all with the new board but it actually continued to do the cycle just no agitation with the motor.
Did I get a faulty board or is there something else wrong here. On my original mcu i do not see any burn marks in the spots where the new board i just tried are. All cables were hooked up properly. thanks for any input.

Did you ever solve your problem? I have a similar issue with no spin/agitate. The countdown timer just blinks. I put it into diagnostic mode and it failed to advance past when it failed the motor rotation step. I don’t know how to get fault codes. I have ruled out the door switch and the drain pump. I hate to just throw parts at a problem when the parts run $200.00 plus. The motor ohms reading are good. I see you got no help from February. My expectations are low.
