Have a front load Fridgidaire washing machine and during the spin cycle it started making a loud clunking noise (like the drum is uneven) and when we took the clothes out they have what appears to be grease on them…any advice???
Difficult to say what the problem is because only a visual inspection will tell us what happened.
Here is a service manual that should cover your model. Use it to take it apart (top and back) and see if you can spot the problem. Focus on the tub supports.
