The agitator in the ice cube container will not rotate when I despress the lever to get ice, thus ice is not dispenced. The water comes out fine. The light comes on, the delay closes the chute cover. I cannot turn the hex shaft with a socket wrench. I am assuming it is the motor 3776020. I have had the front off-the plastic cover that covers the controls, can see the levers-if I remove the levers, can I remove the next enclosure and get to the motor? Thanks.

First off, I am impressed with the response and the links that helped me get the motor out and understand the circuitry. So, I have the motor out, the drive for the shaft will not turn by hand, I have put 110 AC V to correct terminals, no movement and I have jumped the two that come from the cube switch, still no movement. My problem—I cannot get 115 V DC on either of the wire harness contacts from the cube and crushed controls, beyond that I do not get 115 V DC on either of the terminals in the back of the control panel–for either cube or crushed. I think that I am over my head. Is there a way I can run the motor on a bench or do I need a DC 115V Power Supply to do that? Again, I am impressed with this site, Thanks again for the help. Harold
Harold,
Sounds like the motor is bad.
Also, looks like the dispenser electronics is bad as well due to the dispenser has built in inverter which converts the AC voltage to the DC voltage and your test shows missing DC voltage.

Thanks for all of your help–I had the motor on the workbench, removed and found water-----thought maybe it was froze up. Wow, it works. Without your help I would not have had it removed. Great service, thanks again. Harold
You are welcome, Harold. I’m glad you were able to fix it with no cost to you.
