Ice maker does not fill up with water. Status light blinks twice quickly then a slight delay, then repreats the cycle. Optics board?
Also, ice crusher has not worked in a few years…should have had it fixed under warranty but did not. Anyway when I press the ice dispenser tab in the outside door, I can hear it spin but but nothing comes out…it used to just get stuck with a humming sound. Any ideas?

Need part #'s to order for both problems.
Thanks!

MKW,
It sounds like the optic boards are working,(could be working but not transferring circuit to ice maker).
Are you sure the system is ON, check the switch on the reciever board(right side of compartment wall).
As for the auger motor, you say you can hear it turn but nothing comes out,
Make sure the door bucket is properly seated and locked in place on the door dispenser assembly.
You may have stripped or broke the spring loaded drive gear or shaft.
You may also have a bad fill valve or loose connection
Here are the possible part numbers as you requested:

And a service manual for you type ice maker and dispenser system
ok the manual has some excellent info…I tried jumping T & H but got no response from the ice maker…how long does the bare part of the jumper wire need to be…im at half an inch at each end…

MKW,
My jumper ends were longer, more like 3/4", and it was a single strand, 12 guage wire. (from my brother the electrician).
Remember, once that large gear starts to move, remove the jumper wire.
Something else to try :
Remove the reciever board assembly(right side wall).
Disconnect the wire harness, and turn the power off.
(you’ll need another jumper wire).
on the harness connector, with the jumper wire across pin#3 (black) and pin #4(black/white) turn the power on and then do the H to T test again.
If the icemaker works, you’ve got a communicaion error and need the board kit.
If the ice maker does not work, You’ve got a bad icemaker or broken wire, as long as you’re sure your touching the internal contacts on T and H.
