Ice maker not working

Recently bought a house with this refrigerator in it. The freezer and refrigerator works fine. I cannot get the ice maker to work. The unit will dispense water but no ice. The dispenser turns in an effort to drop ice but there is no ice to give.
This fridge has a touchscreen display and a removable ice bin.

It is acting like it thinks it is full of ice and does not need to make any more. I pressed the ice maker test switch and the slinger rotated around.

I don’t know what to check (optical eyes)?

Thanks for any help

It’s a fairly standard ice maker. The fill valve has to actuate to fill the ice molds before it can make ice.
It has to be around 20 degrees, give or take, in order for the ice maker mechanism to work correctly.
I would check the filter as well. Listen to see if the valve actuates to fill the ice maker mold. You should hear it open.
I would check the spout leading into the ice maker to see if it has been blocked by ice freezing before it can reach the molds too.
