[FONT=Arial]Hi. The downdraft fan on our Jenn-Air Stove does not shut off any more. Might have been collatoral damge from the dual inf switch blow out (since fixed).
The replace parts 8,12 in the parts lookup here don’t seem to match our stove. I’m considering just making a separte switch like for a garbage disposal to turn the fan on and off.
Any advice appreciated.

BTW this is a Jenn Air JED8430
No comment from anyone, so planning to pull the stove top, again, and either move the wires from the broken switch, now stuck on, to a 20AMP toggle switch under or on the side of the stove top OR interrupt the power line to the downdraft fan and run through a standard house switch mounted in a low profile surface mount box inside the wood cabinet under the stove top so it is similar to the garbage disposal switch I put info the sink.
Any suggestions?
