Jenn-Air F3-1 Fault

I have a JENN-AIR JGS8850ADB RANGE, and i am getting an F3-1 error. I tested the temp sensor with my electrical multi-meter, and i am getting a reading of 1070 ohms, which i have read is acceptable…

Could the temperature sensor still be faulty (eventhough it gives me an acceptial tested reading)?

In addition, the front control panel gets very hot during oven opearation. After extended operation it is sometimes even too hot to touch.

Please let me know if you just think this is a quick fix via replacement of the temerature sensor, or could there be a bigger problem here? Thanks, Jason.

Could be a bad connection for the sensor were it plugs in.
