Was cleaning around the fan-switch housing unit of a 30-yr old Jenn-Air cooktop (Model# 88372). I noticed 2 screws behind the housing unit and unscrewed them - so I could lift it up and get a better clean. Upon raising it, the fan-switch electrical-points made accidental contact to a metal side - thus shorting out (popping sound) and causing the circuit breaker to flip “Off”. I flipped breaker back “On”, and now NOTHING ON COOKTOP will work - No burners, No fan, No stovelight, No oven…
I’m not oven-knowledgeable…, so, have I literally fried the circuit board? or something else that is probably no longer available? Much thanks…
