Kenmore range

During the night a loud beeping began and the oven showed a F1 code. I do not have a manual and I don’t know what is wrong. We have turned off the breaker to the stove to stop the beeping. Can you help.

Glenna,

The F1 code for your range, would indicate a stuck button or bad ERC(clock).

Did you notice or check for a stuck or loose selector button on the control panel ?

Make sure none are loose, and operate properly(in and out when pressed).

Check and make sure the lens and button assembly are not loose in the control panel.

If you’re buttons operate properly and nothing is loose,

You would most likely have a failed circuit in the ERC (clock).
