One of the 5 gas burners on my cooktop is broken. My child attempted to push down the knob and turn it but kept turning it and broke it. It spins all the way around clockwise and will make a clicking noise in the process but will not ignite. It can be placed in the off position so no gas can be heard leaking out. Is this repairable ? Do I need to remove the back panel and replace the valve for the burner ? Is this simple ? Cost for the burner valve ?
Any ideas would be appreciated.
