I recently purchased a part for my range after the oven stopped working. I spent $170 on AP2995675 (9751895) Console, glass (black & stn.mdl).

When I installed it initially, I plugged the wire next to the chassis ground into the wrong L1 (P4 instead of P5, I think). When it didn’t work, I swapped them and everything was OK. I was able to bake, but now it won’t even get the heating element that ignites the gas to glow. The console accepts the input and the display shows "low". I also hear a fan-like noise, but no heat.

The top burners (gas) are fine and the broiler (which I think is electric, not gas)works. But now the oven won’t heat again.

Any ideas?

Sounds like the ignitor is out.

To test it I would take the broil ignitor out and put it where the oven ignitor is(they are the same) if it lights the replace it with part # 9753108 or AP#AP3008600
