I am having a spin problem. I took the whole thing apart. Then I realized the belt is accessable from the bottom without taking anything apart. I carefully cleaned everything (pulled out some lint and dried soap) and put it back together. Then I changed the belt. The old one popped off very easily, I barely gave it a tug. The new belt was very snug and after about 5 minutes of tugging and cussing it went on. When I turned the machine back on it agitated great but still would not spin. what did I do wrong???

Your model number is no good. Without it I can’t really tell you much. The belt shouldn’t be that hard to replace. Did you take the motor off? Some of these had a motor that actually pivots (slides left or right) depending on whether the washer is in spin or agitate.
Or you might have the wrong belt. Some of these washers take a different belt depending on what day they were made, you have to go by the serial number.
