Strange thing, I buy a new Maytag dryer and install it leave it away from the wall and wash some clothes and notice water on the floor later from my washer?

Did my washer start leaking because I moved it a little ways away from the wall also?

No, it is not a hose or a drain problem (dry as can be) somehow water is coming out from under the machine?

I call Maytag and nearest repair 45 miles away not any in two large towns 15 miles away from me on either side?

Maybe I should pust the washer back against the wall and see if it still leaks (I have washed several loads as it is now and vacuumed up water).

Could I be that lucky?

My house is pier and beam so it may have done this for a while I’m not sure.

Hate I spent nearly a grand on this thing less than 2 years ago!

Disconnect the hot and cold water hoses from the rear of the washer, and remove the end of the drain hose from the standpipe. Tape the washer lid closed. Carefully lay the washer on its front panel. Place padding on the floor to protect surfaces.

Inspect both pumps and other parts for a water marks. Post the results.
