After owning this refrigerator for about 2 years, the ice and water dispenser stopped working. All symptoms pointed to a bad dispenser board, so I purchased and installed one. It fixed the problem and everything worked fine for 3 days, then same failure occured. I called appliance parts pros and they promptly shipped another board. It worked flawlessly for about 3 months, then same issue occured again. I got one more board shipped, and it fixed the problem for 1 day. Now I’m without dispenser convenience again. No ice, no water.
I’m told by appliance parts pros that I need to figure out what’s wrong in the fridge that is causing the board to keep failing before they’ll ship another one. I was given instructions on how to view the service codes, and some technical info on the fridge and what the codes mean, but I’m not having any luck pin-pointing the issue. I’m also not sure I can accurately diagnose this with the current non-working dispenser board.
Any help you can provide is appreciated!
