The ice/water dispenser in the door of my refrigerator works intermittently.
When I activate the dispenser the flapper and auger do not move or even attempt to move.
This happens ~80% of the time.
Everything else seems to be working fine. i.e. open door alarm, temperature display, etc…
I have checked the connections on the dispenser board and all seem to be clean and tight. I’ve checked the trigger switch and it is working correctly.
Any ideas?

I have a similar problem. I have had the Sears repair service come to fix it, they couldn’t! They just started changing parts, the door switches, the paddle switch, the main board. None of those did anything. I noticed that playing with the door switch while holding in the paddle switch sometimes caused it to work. We assume its a loose or broken wire in the harness, which Sears repairman said can’t be fixed. - Very Frustrated
