I have read some other posts of dryers with no heat. Mine is a Maytag, model MGD9700SB0, gas. The dryer will run, a complete cycle, timed or auto, however without heat. This has been a progressive complaint by my wife that drying times have increased over the past year. I have cleaned the dryer duct work and am confident there is no lint or other restrictions.
I have checked continuity of the thermofuze, high temp thermostat, and the igniter. I then pulled the two coils and both have continuity across leads.
Normally, there is an audible "click" when the drying cycle begins - which I think indicates the coils opening the gas valve. This does not happen… but the dryer runs, meaning the motor turns and the timer counts down.
Now my dryer is torn apart, each item as described above shows continuity and I’m at a loss as to what the problem is. 
Any ideas/ help would be greatly appreciated.
