Maytag Gas Dryer. Heat starts and after about 10 minutes heat/gas will shut off and dryer continues through cycle with no heat. All Vents clear. Any suggestions? We have 7 kids…we NEED the dryer working yesterday…

Timber,
I would have to think, you have a set of weak/bad, gas valve coils/solenoids.

Based on your post information.
It’s not a major or costly repair, and can be done with basic hand tools and a little time.
Good Luck,

Not an easy one without being able to actually see the unit in operation. Could be several things. Can you tell me how you are absolutely sure the venting system is not obstructed? A lot of times customers tell me, "oh, its not the vents, we just had them cleaned by such and such company," then I say, "really? thats great, where is your vent so I can check it?" 80 percent of the time, the venting system was never cleaned properly.
So lets start there Timber,

Took the front off (after getting shocked by the door switch, I unplugged the machine) and I cleaned it with the shopvac, when the dryer is on the "air" comes through to the outside…
Without me being in front of the unit the test I recommend to people for this issue is: disconnect the vent from the back of the dryer so the hot air just comes out the back. See if problem is still there. If it is then as Joe stated, try replacing the 2 solenoid coils.

OK…turned off the lights, saw the glow come from the bottom of the dryer, ( yes, this is all of the settings) never heard the "gas flow" it would go dark again, after about 45 seconds or so…glow would return, last 10-15 seconds and again dark…

Timber,
You jumped ahead of me , But great.
I’m 99.9% sure, you need a set of gas valve coils/solenoids.
Order and install the parts, and you’ll be drying clothes in 20 to 30 minutes.
Good Luck,
