Maytag Washer does not agitate or spin

Hi. I have a Maytag Washer MODEL #LAT5914AAE that I can hear (click) and see the dial go through the different cycles, but yet does nothing. I would like to fix it, but not sure if it is worth the time/money. It is at least 15 years old. Does anyone know if it is something simple?
Thanks in advance.

There is a fuse that may be blown. If it is blown I recommend replacing the entire lid switch assembly because most of the time one of the other switches causes that fuse to blow. To access the fuse remove the cover off the back of the control panel. Hope this helps!

The fuse has already been replaced to no avail. As previously mentioned, I can hear the "clicking" and the actually moving of the dial as it progresses through the different cycles.

Ok it really sounds like the timer.

You may have a problem with the water valve or water level control.

After reviewing your wiring diagram I believe your problem is in the water level control or the timer. It is possible the motor is bad or there is a loose connection but more than likely one of these two things.

If you have an ohmmeter you can check the water level control. Disconnect power and disconnect the wires from the control. Then test for continuity from the number 7 terminal to the number 15 terminal. With the tub empty there should be continuity and it should be open from 7 to 16. With the tub full it should be to opposite.
