I have a stackable Maytag LSG7804AAE washer dryer combo. The washer will fill with water but does nothing else. I have manipulated the timer through all cycles but there is no agitation, spin or drain, the tub is full of water. It did add water when the timer was in the correct position but nothing else functions.
Any input is appreciated. Not sure where to start trouble shooting here.

Paul
Check the lid switch. Also make sure the wiring harness is securely attached.
You should have some access to the lid switch (although maybe a little restricted), as you remove the panel between the washer and dryer.
Both switches for the lid have continuity. I examined the wiring and it appears to be good. The dryer has power so I assume the washer does also. I checked the fuse below the pressure switch and it is good.
Where do I go next?

I tested for voltage on the switches and found .2v on the pc switch and .4v across the ch switch.
How would I test the motor cutoff? I don’t see it on the diagram, where is it located on the windings? About how large is it?
Thanks.
Paul
Refer to the schematic to test the motor overload. To see it, you might have to pull the motor out. Although rare for these plastic timers, you might have a bad contact in thre.
