My maytag washer appears to have a leak underneath. We notice water coming from under and when we move the machine the puddle is about in the middle. Is there an easy way to watch this while using to determine exact cause?
at bottom of front panel there are 2 screws . remve them ,then pull forward and up and off. put panel to side .turn on machine +observe with light, all around, especially around centre under transmission+to left between outer tub +lid at back top
Thanks for your help. I now have the front cover off and hopefully it will leak when I am watching it. Thanks Again!
It sounds like the water pump humms but no water reaches the ice maker. This occurs on a regular cycling basis
part no. 316049702 is replaced by part no. 316049706 (dual element burner) but it has a soldered jumper instead of a wire jumper, and it connects two different leads on connectors. How do I wire this replacement part properly?
First establish that you have water coming to the valve, and then second, you will want to check the water tube, where the water dumps into the ice maker and see if it is frozen up. If so replace the water valve, because it would be leaking a little water, enough to freeze the water tube. Tom
