My GE Fridge

After I came back form vacations, my firdge was making clonking noises on the ace making side, after I was looking at that area I saw that the part that dispenses the Ice was frozen and the motor was not turning (that was the reason for the clonking noise) I have since turn the ice making side off and I have tried to take it out to maybe disolve the ice and make the ice maker work again. I am stuck because, I can not take the ice maker out, there is a hose attached to it and I do not know how to take it out, can someone help me please,

Is this the bottom freezer with the icemaker in the fresh food section and ice dispenser through the door?

Yes it is, The freezer is on the bottom and the fridge part is in the top.
The water /ice maker dispenser is on the left hand side (that is if you are looking the freezer infront of you).
Thank you for your fat interest(responce)

To remove the icemaker, remove the ice bucket. Look to the left-hand side of the icemaker section, you should see a screw at the front that holds on a cover, remove it and remove the cover. Once the cover is off you can unplug the icemaker and remove it. The icemaker just slides out if you press the release lever at the top. Hope this helps!
