No cold water

On my washing machine hot water runs fine.but the cold water only trickles in.I replaced the mixing valve & the temperature control switch. The water to the machine runs full stream. What else could be the problem? Thank you, I await your reply,

Remove the hoses grab a bucket and turn your cold hose into the bucket and turn on and see if you have good amount coming in from the wall…if that doesn’t do it there’s filter screens where you attach the feed hoses to the unit at the inlet valve, clean them out.

We have done all of the above plus the new parts & still not a good flow of cold water in the machine. Thank you, we await your reply.

Are you using flood safe washer hoses or valves? If so, this is likely your problem. If not, swap the electrical connectors on the water valve solenoids and select hot water wash. If you don’t get good cold water flow, the valve is faulty or you don’t have proper flow from your cold water supply. If you do get good cold water flow this way, you may have a bad wiring connection or timer problem although the solenoid valves usually either work or don’t, they generally don’t just work partially, but anything is possible.
