No heat,gas dryer

Dryer runs fine, gas would’nt come on, I was told it was the coils, I replaced them, still no heat. Next I completely vaccumed it, I checked with a meter flame sensor, thermal cut off, they were bad, replaced them. Still no heat. went back over with meter, T-stat Hi Limit was bad. I know that it has to be replaced, but if thats the only thing bad, would that alone cause it not to work right ? Like the weakest link ?
