Noisy water dispensing

Six months ago, I changed the filter in the water line. The fridge then started making an intermittent noise that sounds like a small pump with a bad bearing when dispensing water. The dispenser will be noisy to start, then quiet back down to normal (sometimes) after the water has been running a few seconds. The noise appears to be coming from the upper left corner of the door. This is close to the automatic ice maker, but does not seem to come from the ice maker. This is a French door style refrigerator with the ice maker on the upper left.

Is there a water pump in or near the icemaker? or something that might sound like a pump? I’ve looked at parts diagrams, but see nothing.

I have tried with and without filter - no difference. I have listened at the rear where the water solenoid switch is located, but it seems quiet there.

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks much in advance
