Maytag washer model SAV2655AWW, I have removed everything as per directions down to outer tub water seal and this outer tub seal is stuck. It looks like when this outer tub seal went bad that it melted the inner rubber part of it and in this process it kind of welded it in place. How can I get this seal out? Also the outer tub itself has NO flange. it looks like when the seal on bottom went bad and the washer hit spin cycle that it melted off the flange and it now even with the top part of the outer tub water seal that’s left? Does this mean that I need a new outer tub part #27001227?
