oven wont heat but broiler and range work

ok so i go to cook dinner and the oven is NOT heating. I tryed the broiler and it works and the range top works fine but no oven?! Would it be the ignitor?? or something else?? thanks for any help

Most likely the problem is a bad Bake igniter (#218 on the [B]diagram[/B]). You can verify it by checking the igniter for continuity.

The igniter is wired in series with the gas safety valve and if the igniter is bad then the ignition/gas circuit is open and the gas valve is not energized.
