Please read and help. Dryer won't heat

Hi Gene and Simon, I have a question please.
It’s the same old story but please read on. Dryer runs no heat. Igniter does not glow.
I checked all thermostats and the fuse, all have continuity.
When I checked the voltage to the igniter volt meter reads zero. From what I read in this forum should be 120 volts.
Also no voltage when I measured the wiring that goes to the coils. And also no voltage on wire to the flame sensor.
My question to you, what regulates the current/voltage to the heating elements, where does it come from?
What could be at fault to the extent there is no current at all? Wires look ok, dryer otherwise runs.
The forced air fan works, etc.
Please help.
Thank you

What is the complete model number of the dryer?

Hi Gene, thank you for being so kind to answer. The model is GUSR465GBWW. Same as the only one on youtube. 6.58 minutes, with the guy showing how to check for continuity. I think it’s a common, relatively old model. Here’s the pic also.
Thank you again

This dryer is made to use in Canada and there are no any technical data available on line for non American models. Without the correct wiring diagram I can only guess.

The power to the gas part of the dryer (igniter, coils and flame sensor) is coming through the thermostats and fuses from the timer. If there is no power and all thermostats and fuses are fine, then timer should be the culprit.

I have the wiring diagram Gene, If I scan it could you figure out the problem better?

Hi Gene, attached is the wiring diagram. Please help me. My dryer is siting on the floor in thousand pieces, for a week now.
Kind regards

Thank you for the wiring diagram.

Check for continuity between the A & B timer terminals while the timer is in any On position. If it shows no continuity, replace the timer. The part number you can find on the old part.
