I am working on a Maytag Washing Machine that makes a loud roaring sound when it goes into the spin cycle-so loud you don’t want to be in the same room with it.
I have removed the wash tub and the plastic nut on the spin cycle shaft but below the nut is a 4 bolt flange that I need to remove. It is aluminum and I have been to the web site and the on line help but can not tell if it is threaded or or if I need to use a puller on it.
My Jenn Air range is Model JER8850AAB and the oven door handle had loosened up. When I removed the top screws from the door trim to try to gain access to the screws in order to tighten the handle, the handle actually came off the door. The top of the door trim is tight and won’t budge. How do I remove the trim? Can I apply pressure in a particular area, do I use a screwdriver to try to pry it, etc? I really would appreciate your help in either sending me a diagram or explaining to me how I can properly and securely replace the handle. Thank you very much.
