My washer just stopped engaging, it will fill if I start it on warm or hot but anything after (cold, rinse, spin) won’t do anything. Before this it would run until rinse and we’d have to manually switch it over to spin. I’ve been reading about other people having similar issues and I can’t seem to narrow down the issue, I’m thinking it could be the lid switch but since the cold water isn’t working it may be something else. Any tips on narrowing it down would be great.
Sounds like a faulty timer. If the lid switch was bad, it wouldn’t agitate, drain or spin. If your getting hot water but not cold, either the timer is faulty, the water inlet valve is faulty or the cold water inlet is clogged or turned off.
