Good afternoon. I have a Roper Washing Machine and it appears the spin cycle is not working. I have access to the motor, hoses, etc… but am not really sure what I am looking at. It there a place I can get a schematic for this washer to assist me in diagnosing the problem?
I am going to assume you have the basic direct drive Whirlpool made Roper. Most spin problems are a result of problems with the clutch or brake. Take a look at the Sticky on direct drive brakes and go to the video library to get a vido of how to open up the machine and check and test the clutch on Whirlpool washers.
