"Repair man" says it needs "fresh food panel/sensor assembly" and "evaporator/defrost heater assembly".
First off, this is my daughters fridge. She made a beverage in a 2 gallon dispenser that ended up leaking all over the interior of the fridge.
She cleaned it up as much as she could. The next day, she called me saying the fridge was making a noise. I told her it was probably just vibration up against the counter top or wall and to move it a little and see if it stops.
She opened the door and the noise stopped.
Later she said it didn’t seem like it was running and fridge was not very cold.
I went to check it. I unplugged it for a couple minutes, plugged it back in and pressed the top two buttons on the display (online said that would reset).
Fridge stayed warm but display said it was getting cooler. Freezer stayed cold.
She has a home owners warranty, so called them and they had a repair company Come, and the above is what they said.
I can’t figure out exactly which part they are saying is needed, and if he is correct or if there is something simple that may have got clogged with the spilled beverage.
HELP!!!
