My dryer won’t start. A "repair man" directed me to the fuse, but when looking at parts manual on line the thing he told me was the fuse is called the thermal limiter…is that the same as a fuse and would that keep the dryer from coming on?
Yes, Its 36!!! If you have a meter, check it for contineuty(sp) it should read closed, If you have NO meter, UNPLUG the dryer, pull both wires off the limit thermostat, connect the 2 wires together, tape them up and try to start the dryer, If it starts,replace the 36!!! DO NOT leave the dryer running without this part working correctly!!!
