I inherited this stacked washer /dryer set in this house I bought. The dryer needed drum bearings last year, this year the washer’s bearings have headed south. I have found a set of bearings locally. The technicians do not want to do the repairs, say the seals are difficult to install. Are there special tools for installing these parts? What other parts may I need once I get into this antique, bought in 1992. I would just replace the set, but they are fit into a very tight space, stacked combo; 70" H x 27" W x 27" D. Any repair or replacement advice?
