I had a recent issue a couple of months ago with my water pump and replaced it with your assistance - great job. Now it will fill, agitate but will quit about the time to drain and then just sit and buzz near the cycle switch. I can forward to the spin and it will kick in then, but it will not drain. I took off the water pump thinking something might be stuck but no I can turn the water wheel freely. What do you think it might be this time? Thanks a bunch.

With this model, if the machine is spinning then the pump must be turning in a direction to discharge the water, because it is the same shaft from the motor. Look for something caught in the pump or drain hoses.
Here is what I do not understand

If this is happening, then the pump must be operating as the shaft on the motor is the same for driving the spin and driving the pump.
If it will drain once it is into spin mode, then maybe the timer is the problem.

OK. So if i fill it somewhat and turn it just a little it will not agitate any setting in the middle now, but I can forward to rinse and it will fill the tank and I can forward to spin and it will spin (low and high) and it WILL drain. Are you think it timer switch now?
Thanks for your help.
Yes, now that we have a better understanding of what is going on it does point to the timer. I assume the timer is not advancing in agitation cycle.
No, it does not advance itself thru the agitation stage, just clicks. What part do I need for that?
Thanks,
See if this part does not fix your problem.

but check all your wiring and clean all the contacts where the wire harness connects to the timer first.
