Washer will fill with water to proper amount, but then fails to go into next cycle of agitation.
The timer does not advance (appears to be waiting for agitation to start).
When I advance timer to where water should begin to drain prior to rinse cyle, I get a humming sound from control panel.
I have tried to advance timer to various cycles and types of wash (permanent press, hand wash, timed wash, etc.) and get the same results.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for the anticipated replies.
I could be the timer or the motor, but first I would take off the cabinet and check the pump. It may be as simple as something stuck in the pump.
Check as simple as the Lid switch
Tried that, by using a jumper to eliminate use of the switch. No luck!
Then the next step is the fill switch, take your "Pressure" hose off the fill switch behind the control panel, use a i/4" hose and apply a small air pressure (fooling the washer that it is filled with water) and turn it on again…
