The machine works well except the spin cycle does not not wring out the clothes well. I replaced the thrust bearing. It spins a little faster but not to the speed it used to to properly spin out the water. Any advice??
Did you install the thrust bearing kit, with new bearing, spacer, pulley and lower cam? If you hand rotate the pulley CCW with somone holding the basket, does the agitator go back and forth?

I did replace the with a kit. I will try the other thing you suggested. Could the motor not be kicking into highspeed for the spin cycle? If so, how do I test it? Could there be contact in the timer that puts the motor in high speed? How to test that?
In regular cycle, spin is in fast speed only. It will initially be slow because the tub is full of water, the clutch in the transmission will slip and the belt will slip due to the tension spring on the motor. There are several things that can cause slow spin speed but first do the check I suggested. If you can continuously rotate the pulley CCW easily while holding the basket and the agitator agitates while doing so, the transmission is bad.

I did as you suggested. Held the drum and turned the wheel ccw. The agitater went back and forth. Do you belive this is the transmission?
Yes, I’m afraid the transmission is bad. It should not agitate while going in the spin direction.

Thanks for the help. Are there any other parts that need to be replaced, or reccommended to be replaced when replacing the t-mission?
This is a big job that requires a near complete disassembly of parts. Special tools are usually used (spanner wrench, seal nut, spring removal, brake spring). If your going to do it, the [snubber ring ](http://www.appliancepartspros.com/whirlpool-ht-trans-s-35-6615-ap4373431.html"]transmission[/URL] if purchased here, comes with the tub seal kit. I would also replace the [URL="http://www.appliancepartspros.com/whirlpool-snubber-21002026-ap4024496.html)in the brake assembly.
