When I pull out the knob to turn the water on, it just drips in. It worked fine last night and now it’s not working. What could be wrong? It just makes a buzzing noise. It spins fine.
TIA.

Turn off your water supply and disconnect your hoses, look inside see if there is any debris on your screens, if so use a qtip or old tooth brush to clean them, being careful not to puncture the screens.

Thanks Nat. That’s what I’ll do. I did figure out that it’s just the cold water that’s not coming through.
It’s not clogged. The cold water comes through the hose just fine. I read another post where you spoke of a valve. What valve?
Can anyone tell me how to replace the belt on a Maytag dryer? Does one have to take the whole dryer apart? Are there printed directions?
Remove the front panel and the sub panel that supports the drum. Feed the new belt around the drum just in front of the groove with the flat side against the drum. Remove the small back panel and route the belt around the idler pulley and motor.
There is now only one way to route the belt to get proper tension with the grouved side against the motor pulley.
Water is slowing freezing in the inlet and then eventually starts overflowing and freezing inside the freezer with significant build up.
Do we have a value problem or a switch problem?
The water inlet valve on the back of the unit where the water supply comes in can have a slow leak and will cause ice to buildup and block the fill tube. Disconnect the ice maker line from the valve and watch to see if it has a slow drip. It doesn’t take much to eventually block the fill tube.
The valve can leak because of sediment in the water preventing it from closing or low water pressure.
The water inlet valve is where the water supply enters the freezer/fridge. It’s on the back at the bottom maybe behind the cardboard cover on the back. Here’s what it looks like. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/part_details_lgimg.aspx?part_id=4298908&image=0
