Water leaks into ice maker, freezer when in-door water dispensed

Hi, and thanks for taking the time to read this.

We have a frigidaire side-by-side with in-door ice and water dispensers, model frs3hr5jsb1.

When the water dispenser is used, a trickle of water also flows into the ice maker, which then overflows and runs down the inside of the freezer.

Not sure about the other direction - we’ve noticed some water on the floor, but were unsure as to whether it was from inside the freezer or from the water dispenser – so it may be a 2 way thing, with water leaking out of the door when the ice maker runs.

My first thought was that we need to replace the valve, but after looking at the thing, I can’t see how one valve can cause water to leak through the other. Seems like there has to be voltage bleeding over somewhere.

I did a search and saw some mention of a diode - can anyone offer more advice or clarification? My model doesn’t come up on the website, so I’ve been using the Sears site to find parts. They don’t have a diode listed.

Thanks for any help you can offer!
