Had this issue before a couple years back. Watched repairman replace a part at the bottom of the unit. Seemed to be a farly simple job, but of course I didn’t note the part he replaced. Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.
If the motor is running and the pump will drain things it is probably the coupling.
This video will show you how to change it out.
Got the coupler this AM and had it in by mid-morning! Although I wasn’t as fast as the guy on the video, the end result was the same. Thanks a bunch!
The new coupler is reinforced with metal sleeves, so it should last longer this time.
