washer is showing ul code. washer is level and load in washer is fine. is it possible sensor is off or bad? where is sensor located?
UL code is unbalanced load, if you have an unbalanced load (where you unit is vibrating terribly) your machine is working correctly. 1) if you can bounce on your toes and your washer and dryer bounce with you; your floor could be at issue. 2) ensure shipping material has been removed, unit is level and lock nuts are locked all the way up to increase stability. 3) spin the inner basket, does it move freely and coast after you let go? if not, you may have an object caught between the inner basket and outer tub. 4) lean unit back, use an allen wrench to ensure that the rotor bolt is snug. if not, you need to tighten, a little locktite won’t hurt. (side note: if this loosens again, remove the rotor and ensure the drive shaft bolt is not loose). beyond that, you may need to consider some of the electrical components that you would have to check rps, stator, wiring control all requiring a meter and a little bit more involvement

thanks for info. floor is fine and washer is level. i saw a viseo on making it go into different modes. when it went into c8 to spin the basket wobbled really bad and the code ul come up… what would cause basket to do that… thanks

there should be nothing in the unit during diagnostic mode. there are a few things that could cause this. first can you move the inner basket independent of the outer tub. that is to say can you reach in and wobble the basket by itself w/o moving the suspension rods and out tub with it? if so, you need to look at the bolt holding the wash plate, the splines on the wash plate, the hub that connects the basket to the drive shaft or the basket itself may be broken. the other culprit may be a bent suspension rod that can cause the whole outer tub and inner basket to bounce. at c8 that should be a pretty slow spin, no more than 25 rpm
