The E3 F2 code came up when I reconnected the oven to the junction box
upon switching out a cooktop. Whirlpool checked but had no record of that
trouble code. The symptoms were a keypad that was inoperative, with the
clock setting spinning around and all other functions not working. This would
go on for about a minute then the E3 F2 code would appear. Solution: The ground (copper wire) and neutral (White wire) are joined together with a clip.
This clip, when placed in a wire nut with other wires, evidently does not make
a good contact. I seperated the wires, & reattached them to the ground wire via a wirenut & the oven is working fine.
