I got power to the stove, but the burners will not get hot. Help!
Here is the wiring diagram

If the stove top and oven elements do not come on then you have either a bad connection or a power problem.
How do you know that it has power?
The control panel and oven light will work (they use half the line 120 volts) but you may not have the correct power for the elements (require the full line 240 volts).
If it was net checked with a meter at the plug flip the beaker off/on slowly a couple times. Sometimes you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker.
If this does nothing measure the voltage at the plug.
L1 to L2 should be 240 volts
L1 yto Neutral and L2 to Neutral both should be 120 volts.
If OK
Unplug the unit and check for a burned off wire at the terminal strip in the unit.
If OK
Check the wires in the line cord for continuity all should be 0 ohms.
If OK
Check further in the unit for a burned/open wire
We figured out that there was a burnt wire and had to rewire the house for 240. Thank you for your help!
Glad to hear you solved it.
Thank you for letting me know.

 My oven stopped heating. I was using the oven at 200 degrees and after about 2 hours it stopped heating. I turned it off and turned it back on at a higher temperture, 350 degrees. It did not go on. The top burners all work and so does the clock. What should I do?
