My washer drum won’t spin but can hear the motor engage and sounds like it is spinning. No smell to indicate the belt burnt up or broke thinking maybe it slipped off?
Also not sure how to get face panel of machine off? Anyone/
Hi.
To remove the front panel open two clips on the top of panel (using the putty knife) tilt it towards you and lift off the bottom hinges.
Turn the washer on spin and watch the motor and the belt performance.
If the motor and belt turning but the basket isn’t - you have the bad transmission.
