i ran the service mode and the only message that showed was that i don not have the serial connection connected between the washer and dryer(because cable broke)…what else do you recommend i try

If there was no error messages, check the inverter as described in the attached file. If you don’t feel comfortable with this test it’s better to hire a pro.

Well the results are in…it was a dime stuck between the gears…whats the chances the repair guy showed me the dime it was there for a while…thank you for all your help

What can I say? It was probably the most expensive dime in your life!

I’m glad it’s up and running.

Thank you for the feedback.

I have a similar problem, my washer doesnt agitate, it starts to but then stops, it does sound like something is grinding. It does however seem to spin fine. I say seem because sometimes after a few times of retrying the agitation cycle the spin cycle also fails but after turning off and leaving it for a while it drains and spins fine. we had someone come out and replace AP3207386 but that didnt help. He also replaced some sensor but that also didnt help. Any idea?

what gears is he referring to? where was this dime stuck, sounds like the problem i am having.

now this machine turns on for seconds and the stops with a notice code saying a problem has been detected with your unit. when I do the service code it reads the motor is not rotating properly. check and replace if necessary…I have read that this may be a hall sensor??? any help? and if so do they sell it seperatley/
