F1 Error After Replacing ERC & Membrane Switch

I’m stumped and would love any insight anyone can provide. The unit was built and installed in the fall of 1996. I’ve rolled through a series of error codes based upon which part was replaced.

*]I’ve tested the oven temperature sensor with an ohmmeter and ranges were in tolerance according to the chart provided on this site. I tested a range of temperatures from room temperature through 400 degrees. I also used a secondary oven thermometer to validate the oven’s temperature at each increment.
*]An F7 error led me to the initial testing of the temperature sensor. I also ran the F1 Touch Pad/ERC Test which led me to replace the ERC.
*]Replacing the ERC changed the error code to an F1. Since the ERC was already replaced, I proceeded to replace the Membrane Switch next. For the most part, everything is good; however, the F1 error code still appears sporadically when I turn the oven off after a heating cycle. Sporadically would be 1 in 3 times in the last 5 days. My wife is still worried it may turn off on her in the middle of baking and ruin her hard work.[/LIST]Does anyone have any additional troubleshooting tips or ideas? Replacing the entire unit is not high on my priority list since I’ve just put $400 into it in the last month.
