Help me please

Just this past weekend during a thunderstorm, my power went out. The dryer was running at the time of the power loss… Now the dryer turns on, runs for about 30secs and shuts off…the lights on the display blink two or three times and thats it… There is heat in the drum, just wont keep running. Please give me any suggestions you might have…

Check the manual to see if the flashing lights are actually a diagnostic code, may help you narrow it down.

Could be an electrical surge blew the control board.
