Hi guys, hope you can help. I have a kitchen aid kesh307hbl4 electric stovetop. one day All three of burner when out. Only one is on and the oven light is on but didn’t turn it on. BTW, We never use the oven.
I pull the unit out and open the panels and everything looks fine, no burn wire or anything. It was very clean.
The control panel time seem to when out, can it be the panel problem? I didn’t try to flip the breaker yet because I think the whole top wouldn’t work if it was a fault breaker. Any one had this problem happen to them? Can it be switch problem? Idks, can it be a perfect timing where all three switch go out at the same time? I know i should use a voltmeter and check it out, but wanta to ask first before i dive in. Thanks in advance.
Check for continuity the thermal cut-off (#17 on the diagram).
Replace if it’s open.

It opens the L1 circuit to the electronic control board if the console temperature reaches 96˚C/205˚F.
