Hi i have a question regarding the above model washer, i saw that it was addressed back in Nov by Sticks1947 and Kayakcrzy and i believe i have the same problem. The actual problem my machine is having is that it would not power up when i pushed power, i checked the outlet with a multimeter and the outlet was good so i went throught the following steps. 1) opened the control panel and checked for loose connections at the control board, none found. 2) i then opened the control board and checked the fuse on it and it had continuity. 3) upon plugging in the washer again, to check if by unplugging and plugging in the little plugs on the control unit the washer would work i would get a small arc in the outlet and a beep from the control unit. i proceeded to purchase and install a new control unit which upon installing did not power up but after holding down stop and then pressing power it lit up and worked in a short rinse and spin cycle which worked. Later i when to use the washer and it would not power up again. After reading your suggestions that says the refurbished control units could be defective i purchased a second one and this one powered up immediately and when i when to put it through a cylce it would start up, i would hear water, the lid would lock and the red indicator light would come on and with in 30 sec of this the machine would go dead again. An elasped time of 1 + minutes had elasped.
so before ordering any more parts do you have any tech manuals that can be forwarded to me or should I order the interface board as you had also suggested to the previous person with this simalar problem. i did not see any error codes and would like to get some guidance.
