Our kenmore elite washer is 14 months old and stopped working. It dosen’t power up when we hit the power button. I took out the control card and it does have power going to it. Of the six connections going to the control card I only get a one volt change on one point when I push the power button. I have been told this is a common problem on these washers. Is there any other way to check and see if this is the problem before I spend the ninety bucks to replace it. I was also told by store people this is not the machine to get. We bought the old washer with analog controls but want to fix this one up as a spare or for one of the kids. I could not, with good concience. sell it. Thanks for any help.
